Being in Barcelona and wanting a change of scenery, spending a nice day out of town? The excursion to Tarragona and Sitges is a great option! Strolling the beautiful Tarragona – the ancient Roman capital of Hispania – is a journey back in time to the glorious era of the great Roman Empire. Your private tour guide will show you the marvelous vestiges: the Aqueduct known as the Devil’s Bridge, the Roman Circus Maximus, the Forum, the amphitheater that hosted the gladiator fights. Then we’ll head to Sitges - once a quiet fishing village and today boasts a long and sandy beach, groovy boutiques, and a handful of interesting sights. Fashionable since the 1890s, when it became an avant-garde, art-world hang-out, Sitges provides a maze of shady side streets, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere of its whitewashed houses while spending a relaxing afternoon soaking up the sun.
Go to the Roman town of Tarragona and see the lesser-visited Roman Aqueduct
Walking tour in the center of Tarragona visiting the Roman Circus & Amphitheatre
Walking tour in Sitges and later some time to enjoy a bit of shopping in the old town, stroll along the boardwalk soaking up the sun or enjoy a refreshing drink with a view of the beautiful Mediterranean
