Your Private Palma de Mallorca Walking Tour begins with the Cathedral of Santa María de Palma de Mallorca. It is considered the most precious architectural treasure of the entire island and boasts the largest rosette in the world that peaks a Gothic cathedral.

 

Inside the cathedral, you’ll be able to photograph the different geometric motifs that adorn the structure and marvel at the stained-glass windows. Feel transported to another era while walking under its domes.

 

The next stop on this tour will be the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, an incredible fortress that served as residence for the Kings of Mallorca and later for viceroys and governors who exercised political power on the island during the 13th and 14th centuries.

 

Then, we will make our way through the old town where we will admire the traditional Mallorcan courtyards, until we reach the Plaza de Cort, where the stately building of the City Hall of Palma stands.

 

But our adventure could not be complete if we don’t visit the old Jewish quarter of the island and walk through the narrow streets of the “call”, such as Sun Street and Mount Zion Street. We will also make a short stop before the Church of Mount Zion which was once a Jewish synagogue.

 

To finish the tour, we will head to Plaza de España (Spain’s Square), the most central place in all of Mallorca where you have the option to head back to the hotel then or spend more time in the island’s capital city.
