TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Embark on a culinary journey through Granada's old town on a unique market tour that ventures off the beaten path. Experience the authentic daily life of locals in a city where the relaxed Spanish lifestyle unfolds. A walk through the market is often said to be the best way to immerse yourself in the true essence of a city, feeling the pulse of local life.

Tantalize your taste buds as you navigate various stalls, diving into the heart of Spanish culinary traditions. Our adventure begins with a stroll through the old town, tracing 2000 years of history from ancient tribes to the era of Muslims and Christians. Along the way, we'll glimpse the majestic Cathedral of Granada, the second largest in Spain, and the final resting place of some of Europe's most notable monarchs, the Spanish Kings.

To start, indulge in the simple pleasure of hot churros and chocolate, a delight cherished by both children and adults alike. Our journey continues as we visit a family-owned shop to sample exquisite Iberian ham and local cheese from Trevelez, nestled in the peaks of the Sierra Nevada, alongside other gourmet Spanish products like Chorizo, Lomo, and Salsichon.

In Granada, the Alhambra is ubiquitous, and you'll have the opportunity to not only visit, but also taste it – Alhambra is one of Spain's most beloved beers. If beer isn't to your liking, we'll opt for a fine Spanish wine, red or white, to suit your palate.

Our exploration takes us past vegetable stands where we'll learn about the "costa tropical," Granada's agricultural heartland renowned for its tropical fruits, thanks to the Mediterranean climate of Granada’s coast.

The journey wouldn't be complete without a visit to an olive stall, embarking on a voyage through the history and significance of olive oil in Spanish cuisine, unraveling the story behind this essential ingredient.

We conclude our tour on a sweet note with Piononos, a typical artisanal dessert, ensuring you leave with a lasting impression of Granada's rich flavors and culinary heritage.
